Obedience Even with a Family

A new Volkswagen van and 2,600 miles to reach our home, San Jose, Costa Rica, but there was a problem.

Driving alone through six countries would have been difficult enough but to have 4 children that were 8, 6, 2½, and 9 months old the trip seemed almost impossible.

After much prayer, we rested in the Lord and began our homeward journey to Costa Rica.

Packed in our van were 13 dozen disposable diapers, 13 dozen bottles of baby formula, and plenty of bottled water.

One leg of our journey required me to drive 545 miles before I could find a town with a reasonably decent motel.

The under girding of prayer by many Christians was the only reason we were able to make this grueling seven day trip without any problems.

My Life-Changing Lesson:

Paul said in Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me. ”   God showed me that He always keeps His promises.
